Experience whiskey the way a distiller does.

Join us for an immersive distillery tour through every stage of our grain-to-glass whiskey-making process. Learn how Texas-grown grains become award-winning Texas whiskey as you explore grain handling, fermentation, distillation, barrel maturation, and the art of blending.

Along the way, enjoy guided tastings of our handcrafted spirits, including selections from our award-winning whiskey portfolio, all produced here at our Lewisville, Texas distillery.

Complete your experience by hand-filling your own cask strength single barrel bottle directly from the barrel (optional). Every Straight From The Barrel bottle is unique, unfiltered, barrel proof, and customized by you. It's a rare opportunity to experience Texas whiskey exactly as it comes from the cask.

Straight From The Barrel bottle filling is available on a first-come, first-served basis through our distillery gift shop, with no tour or reservation required. However, guests with pre-booked distillery tours and SFTB reservations receive priority access.

Tour BENDT Distilling Co.

  • BENDT offers guided tours to the public on Saturday afternoons. Distillery tours are hosted by our in-house whiskey experts and include information on BENDT, whiskey history, the whiskey making process, and the impact of barrel aging. Each tour lasts approximately 45 minutes and includes a spirit tasting.

  • BENDT Tours offer a behind-the-scenes view into a fully operational whiskey distilled spirits plant (DSP). Please be sure to bring your valid government issued ID and dress for the elements. We operate in an industrial environment and outside of the check-in area, our facility is not climate controlled. Please use the restroom prior to your arrival, as our restrooms are quite a distance from our check-in area and require a team member escort.
    Distillery tours have been paused for renovations, but are expected to resume August 2025.

    Distillery Tours - Saturdays

    Tour north Texas’ premier whiskey distillery! Public tours are offered every Friday and Saturday for adults 21+. Tickets are required and can be purchased online. Note that BENDT distillery tours are currently on hold and are expected to resume Summer 2025.
